This is what happens when your husband treats the dog like a third child; he sneaks up onto the bed for a crafty nap. He did look cute against the crochet so I snapped a few pictures before reintroducing him to his equally cosy bed furnished with a recently handed down child's sleeping bag. This dog lives in the land of the luxury I tell you!
naughty puppy! that crochet is far to lovely for you! don't tell him that my kitties are fast asleep on a quilt.........
ReplyDeleteTrouble is he knew it was a £3 charity shop bargain rather than something I had slaved over! Cats on quilts; sounds like a good title for a poem! :-)
DeleteYes I have a dog just like that...so spoilt! We are having cyclonic winds her in Australia so our 8 year old Labrador had to sleep on our bedroom floor near us.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh. That must be terrifying. Are you in one of the danger zones? I would most definitely have Harvey close by if we were experiencing that. I hope it's over soon for you.
DeleteHi Juanita, Luckily we were safe but it is the worst storm that I have ever experienced and it wasn't even classified as a cyclone in Brisbane!
DeleteNow it is time to clean up the garden and once again we have been lucky to not lose too many plants, have no flood damage and haven't lost power at all.
Sounds very frightening. Thankfully you got off lightly this time then! The UK doesn't suffer too much this way but in 1983 I think it was I slept through a hurricane that ripped roofs off and felled trees!
Delete£3 - what a bargain - although you mustn't call it a charity shop bargain - it's 'vintage'! Your dog is beautiful x
ReplyDeleteI will start calling it vintage, it sounds much better! Harvey is a sweetie, one of my better behaved Springers definitely! :-)
