the little things in life...

It's the little things in life that make it all ok don't you think? My Saturday morning coffee a stone's throw from Lincoln Cathedral. Mr H doing the Times crossword and me flicking through a new crochet magazine.

Could this crisp, cold, sunny morning get better? Yes actually... a couple of new books from Oxfam and two balls of chunky yarn in gorgeous steel blues with random colourful bits. Yes I admit this does go against my 2012 resolution to use up what I have and 'keep it natural', but it was kind of thrust upon me by Mr Helpful H who suggested I make another easy peasy ruffle scarf for myself, so that doesn't really count does it?

...meanwhile, this continues to grow...

  1. Hi Juanita,
Read your comment on Lucy's blog and had to come over to say hello...Hi! I love the colours of your crochet in the photo. I have just started blogging too and isn't it exciting when people read what you have written...especially from all around the world. I think you just have to keep commenting on other people's blogs to get reply visits. I never realised how important it was to comment until I had my own blog...you get such a thrill from receiving even the shortest comment. Have fun and keep going :)

    1. Thanks for popping over to say hello! Yes I think you're right, it helps to leave comments and be sociable! I only wish I'd started years ago. J :-)

  2. Totally agree about the little things in life, sounds like a perfect Saturday. Your blog is great, well done for taking the plunge. I'm just getting into crochet at the moment and reading other people's blogs is really inspiring. Hxx

    1. Thanks for the encouragement Helen. I think blogging will take me as long to master as crochet but at least both are fun along the way!
